What Will Your Child Learn?
Day 1: Refresher challenges with Tracy the Turtle, then dive into
Python lists — creating, altering, and using list methods. Campers build a
digital art platform as their first partner project.
Day 2: Combine lists with loops to iterate through data, then
apply everything in an interactive to-do list project. The day ends with a
comprehensive Ticketing System project.
Day 3: Master strings — accessing characters, looping, and
string methods. Build a text parser, then create a Timeline project on a topic
of their choice.
Day 4: Learn file I/O — reading from and writing to files.
Create a Poetry Remixer, then explore real-world Python applications and present
an open-ended project to the group.
